Clinical / Social Work:
Substance Use Clinician: HHS is seeking a caring, experienced SUD Clinician (LCDP/LICSW) to join our team and work collaboratively with our CEO and Clinical Director to develop and implement our new on-campus substance use disorders treatment program based on the Seeking Safety treatment model. In this role, you will: take the lead on training and coaching clinical and youth care team members on program delivery, conduct individual/group/family therapy sessions, and maintain a small caseload to orient youth, create and monitor individualized treatment plans, and provide overall support of youth development and treatment goals. This is a full time position (37.5 hours) working onsite Monday-Friday with a flexible daily schedule within the hours of 8am-6pm.
Educational Programs:
Farm Operations Lead (24 hours): Do you have practical growing experience? Bringing your enthusiasm for farming, gardening and outdoor work to this hands-on role and play a key part in getting our campus gardens, greenhouse and hydroponic initiatives firmly established. We’ve started it, come & take over with your creativity and passion!
Plan, plant, harvest & distribute. Our goal is to create a farm operation that provides a variety of experiential learning opportunities for our students to understand gardening basics & sustainable farming, grow their own food, and harvest a crop that can be shared with the HHS school community. So many possibilities to make a positive and lasting impact!
Teacher: Imagine a strong collaborative team of team of caring Educators working cohesively to inspire and guide vulnerable students in achieving their learning and development goals. Think – innovative, student-centered approaches with the freedom to do what’s right for each student with low class sizes, paraprofessional support, and 2 duty free hours daily. THIS is the teaching experience Harmony Hill School offers! RI Teacher Certification required.
Residential Youth Care:
Our Residential Youth Care team is comprised of caring, dedicated direct care professionals who provide a safe, nurturing environment and support youth attending our 24/7 residential program to achieve their education, treatment and personal development goals. Our campus is comprised of 7 dormitory units and multiple outdoor recreational spaces available to our youth residents.
Night Awake (Full or Part Time): Are you a night owl? This is the job for you! Support youth through their evening routines, perform nightly safety checks, and assist youth with morning routines. Some past experience working with youth is helpful; training is provided.
Residential Youth Care Supervisor: In this role, you will provide overall leadership and guidance to the youth and assigned staff in your assigned dormitory or program. Responsibilities include: budget management, staff training and management, coordination of student outings and transportation, conducting crisis interventions, communicating to families and outside agencies as needed and ensuring dormitory operations and youth supervision practices are in accordance with HHS policies and procedures and all licensing agency requirements. Work schedule is primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekend coverage. Past residential and supervisory experience is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Residential Youth Care Assistant Supervisor: Work collaboratively with the Supervisor to support your assigned team in ensuring the safe, consistent and professional care and treatment for adolescent males in your assigned dormitory unit. Provide direct supervision and care to youth; coach and train staff; and collaborate with varied disciplines including clinical, medical and administrative staff to do what’s best for the youth in our care.
Youth Care Counselor (Full Time): Coordinate daily activities in assigned dormitory to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment to foster individual development and to strengthen dormitory communities. Serve as a positive role model and actively supervise youth as you implement treatment plans and assist with daily activities. The Counselor collaborates with other HHS team members to contribute to overall youth case management activities. The full time work schedule is a mix of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm weekday shifts along with rotating weekends. Past residential youth care experience is required. College degree or current enrollment is preferred.
Youth Care Assistant Counselor (Full or Part Time): As directed by the Residential Counselor, you will work to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment to foster individual development and to strengthen dormitory communities. Serve as a positive role model and actively supervise youth as you implement treatment plans and assist with daily activities such as self, household chores, and cooking. Our Assistant Counselors work every weekend. Those interested in full time positions will also work additional weekday shifts (a mix of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts). Some past experience working with youth is required; training provided.
